|Job Description :||Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager -UK, Eng (Flexible Location) (ref: J2007) with a direct sales background within general asset finance . Depending on your location, you will manage either the Northern or Southern UK territory and directly approach our client's customers to provide financing for them. Deals will vary in size from a £25K to a £10M across various asset classes.
Pro-actively business develop and manage a database of customers and prospects within the agreed geographical area with a view to establishing solid and long lasting working relationships.
Negotiate with customers key decision makes to generate commercially viable transactions.
Manage personal activity and pipeline ensuring personal targets are met.
Cross sell other client services e.g. invoice discounting and extended payment terms.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of activity and results using CRM system.
Stakeholder management skills at an advanced level as this role involves selling into the client customer base and dealing with the relevant client account manager.
Advanced finance product knowledge required.
Ability to write Credit Reports to a high standard.
Self motivated with a desire to succeed, the role will require extensive UK travel and is very much field based.
Proven ability to work in matrix organisation.
