|Job Description :||Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager, ICT Resellers - UK, NW Eng (ref: J2060) to build and develop deep relationships in promoting their leasing proposition to the ICT channel. The position will require strong account management skills, and excellent knowledge of the ICT marketplace in the NW Eng region. The ability to influence multiple stakeholders at all levels is a pre-requisite as is a proven track record of achievement in a large account management role.
Achievement of sales and profitability targets.
Establishing credibility within designated partner relationships and displaying knowledge and empathy with the partner sales team/management.
Work with partner management to agree appropriate strategies on penetration rates, SOW, processing efficiencies and training requirements in order to drive business growth.
Coach, train and develop relevant staff within key partners on key initiatives as and when required.
Produce monthly and quarterly business forecasts as required.
Develop and execute business plans to maximise partner opportunity and deliver annual business objectives.
Meet and review performance levels with the relevant stakeholders to ensure objectives are set and agreed.
Work directly with end user customers as required on large value opportunities to support in negotiating and closing large value/strategic opportunities for the partner and our client.
Identify, prospect and win new partner opportunities within the geography to build partner portfolio.
Gain commitment from partners to use tools available and to train and influence.
Minimum 4 years' relevant experience.
Experience in the asset finance leasing marketplace essential.
Experience in the ICT market essential.
Experience of using a CRM tool.
Possess a proven consultative financial sales background.
Knowledge of financial and budgetary accounting in a business context.
Strong level of negotiating and solution selling skills.
Ability to plan and prioritise time to ensure commitments are met in agreed timescales.
Ability to influence multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to identify, qualify, develop and close leasing opportunities.
