Our client a leading & highly respected asset financing for whom we have successfully hired a number of staff are seeking an additional Dealer Account Manager to develop and manager dealer introduced business for light commercial vehicles & materials handling assets.

You will develop business across a large area encompassing Derbyshire , Nottinghamshire Lincolnshire & South Yorkshire offering a wide range of financial products and with competitive finance rates & a credit policy that ensures their dealers receive very high acceptance rates.

You will inherit a number of dealers on the sales area where you will be expected to build on existing volumes & finance penetration levels but the role has a strong new business focus to it but with achievable targets that reflect this new business emphasis.

You can expect to work with everyone from sales staff to dealer principals at dealers & , tactically , also to assist with helping to structure & larger any larger and more complex transactions as well as working closely with a variety of head office functions.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking applications from those who live on the sales area and have a strong & successful sales background in asset finance – preferably dealer or broker driven, but those with predominantly direct experience will definitely be considered.

We are particularly seeking applications from those with experience of the light commercial vehicle finance sector as this is where the greatest potential lies. Knowledge of materials handling would be an additional bonus but this is not required to apply.

We are seeking applications from those who have a strong new business mentality and focus and are self managing self starters who are comfortable working remote from head and being based from home.

You will also need not only the ability to work alone managing your area but to work his head office based colleagues in new business processing , operations , credit etc to provide your dealers with the very best service.
