Our client a leading international asset financer for whom we have recently sourced senior sales staff in Germany are seeking two further Sales Managers to develop business across Germany.
Our client are flexible on the sales areas to be developed & therefore except for the Frankfurt area we welcome applications from across Germany but we are particularly interested in applications from those based in the northern part of the country.
You will focus on developing new business wholly for hard assets such of print, manufacturing , machine tools , construction but not transport or recycling.
Your role will be to identify prospects from suspects and build a contact strategy to build engagement with customers operating at senior level to win middle ticket sized deals.
You route to the customer will be a flexible one – today 75% of our clients business is derived from lease brokers with the balance being sourced either directly or from hard asset dealers or hard asset manufacturers or in some cases even other financiers.
What is crucial is that whatever the route to source the customer you must have direct contact with the customer itself to influence & win the deal reflecting the mid ticket deal size focus of these roles.
Targets are realistically set to reflect the new business nature of the role and the ongoing development of their business.

You must be a bi-lingual German & English speaker and will have a strong record as a new business hunter in the hard asset finance sector.
We are particularly seeking applications from those with a genuine depth of hard asset finance experience – please do not apply if you do not have hard asset experience.
Whilst the role drives business from brokers, dealers & direct we are particularly interested in applications from those with real evidence of working with customers at senior level to negotiate & successfully win deals.
It is important that you can demonstrate real evidence in your CV of closing deals direct even if you have accessed these deals via indirect routes.
You must also have broad commercial skills, the ability to write up a credit paper & a build a business case to support a deal for €1m internally is as important as the ability to negotiate , structure & close a deal working at CFO level with the customer themselves.

Base salary €98,000 , on target earnings up to €196,000 with monthly paid commission – plus company car & all usual large company benefits.
