Job Description : Our client is seeking an Account Manager, Hard Assets - UK, N Eng / Scot (ref: J2080) to initiate, develop and/or maintain commercial contacts, identifying and pursuing new business sales opportunities as well as providing support to the existing partner and customer base. You will be targeted to achieve sales objectives on lease penetration rate, new business volume and partner profitability, predominantly from the hard assets (construction and materials handling) segment.


Research, identify and target hard asset opportunities to maximise new business.
Prepare sales awareness initiatives designed to secure business meetings with targeted partners.
Develop and implement partner account strategies.
Ensure all partner account strategies are properly communicated and reviewed with line management.
Effectively manage and report on pipeline business, demonstrated through accurate forecasting.
Discuss proposals with customers and potential customers.
Actively contribute to the sales team ensuring market and competitor information is shared and acted on where appropriate.
Support all business/ system improvement projects, contributing with suggestions/ feedback where required.


Ideally with field sales / Business Development experience within the finance industry; in particular Lease Finance.
Proven success in building relationships with people at all levels, easily and has ability to influence.
Experience of Hard Asset financing will be a distinct advantage.
Experience setting milestones, reviewing progress and take appropriate corrective action.
Prepared to engage with all necessary stakeholders in taking the organisation forward.
Positive outlook with a can do, flexible approach.
Pro-actively seeks out new business opportunities with target prospects and effectively converts them into prospects.
Places the customer at the heart of all day to day activities.
Maintains a rich network of market related contracts that can be leveraged for maximum business benefit.
This is a home-based role and ideally you will be based in N Eng / Scotland.
