Description

Our client a fast growing business with a strong & growing brand name are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager or Business Development Manager to manage and develop a territory encompassing central southern & south west England , south Wales and south west midlands


Your role is to drive both broker and direct business for generalist asset finance across your sales area, driving business from finance brokers and also direct from customers

You will be tasked to achieve very realistic volume and margin targets offering HP, Finance Lease and Operating Lease solutions with very competitive rates augmented by our client being a participant of the governments funding for lending scheme.

Flexibility exists to consider those with as little as 3 years of external deal closing experience but preference is to hire those with a least 5 years of experience , salaries will range from £40,000 to potentially over £60,000 for a more experienced senior hire.

Candidate Profile

Our client are seeking successful focussed hungry generalist asset financiers not niche specialists in say IT, aviation or marine. They are seeking those with broad experience more likely to be in construction, HGV, LCV , machine tools , manufacturing , transport etc.

Ideally you will have experience of developing business via brokers as 80% of our clients business today is broker introduced but as they are seeking to move to a 50% / 50% mix of broker / direct so those with strong corporate asset finance experience but without broker experience but possessing the skills to manage & develop brokers are welcome to apply.

Our client are seeking those who are ambitious and motivate by strong earnings the expectation is that you should make 75% of your base salary in additional income.

If you are used to a year end paid discretionary mainstream bank scheme where you achieve targets, behave in the right way with customers, credit , colleagues etc and then find that you bonus is next to nothing at year end despite your employer have made an excellent return from the value you have brought perhaps it is time to look to an environment where you are paid based on what you do deliver instead ?

 Salaries range £40,000 to £60,000 + , commission up to 75% of base salary 2/3 of this quarterly paid , plus all usual bank based benefits quality company car choice , 25 days holiday generous pension , life and health cover.
