Job Description : J2197 - Our client is seeking an Internal Account Manager, Technology - UK, Gtr London / SE Eng, to work alongside the team leader, other Account Managers and Risk to create, build and maintain excellent relationships with their mix of vendor, dealer and broker partners to deliver best in class pre sales support to help maximise UK financing volumes and profitability.


Work with the Team Leader and Sales Support to develop and maintain excellent relationships with their existing mix of vendor, dealer, broker and partner programmes.
Manage and fully understand point of sale program including set up, installation and operation.
On a day to day basis build strong personal relationships and become the first internal point of contact for proposals, quotations, documentation, risk queries and appeals.
Ensure proposals are promptly acted upon and submitted with considered and strong commercial support.
Manage risk declines and act as first point of contact for appealing decisions.
Proactively make telephone calls and undertake personal visits to introducers to ensure constant contact regardless of whether present business is in discussion or not.
Proactively make telephone calls to end user customers to discuss financing requirements and ultimately close the sale.
Manage introducer pipelines and conduct regular reviews on conversion rates.
Input proposals with supporting information to assist Risk in making a quick informed decision.
Achieve personal and team volume, income and margin targets.


Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales support internal sales function within the Asset Finance and Leasing industry.
Excellent customer care skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Good, proven negotiation skills.
Strong credit skills to present deals and challenge referrals and declines.
Ability to use KPMG Classic tool and HP17 or equivalent.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Good time management, organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
Highly numerate and practical problem solving capabilities.
IT skills to include word/excel/ and ability to learn new IT products.
Can work to service level deadlines.
Experience and comfortable in participating in external customer meetings.
Team player.
