We are currently working on a superb opportunity for a motivated and driven individual wishing to develop their career within Financial Services. Our client is a well-established independent finance intermediary and due to the continued success and growth of their business they are seeking a Business Planning and Finance professional to join their already successful team as an Associate Consultant.


The Role Purpose

In this primarily office based position, you will be working as part of the Business Planning and Funding team to provide business plans and funding solutions to clients within the Franchise industry and will be responsible for;


  • Preparing Business Plans and Financial Forecasts for both new and existing franchise businesses
  • Sourcing finance solutions for clients from their panel of lenders
  • Submission of finance applications to lenders
  • Managing finance applications through to completion, liaising with the client / lender and franchisor throughout the process
  • Maintaining up to date client information and building strong business relationships
  • Attending client meetings and franchise exhibitions
  • Liaising with other areas of the business, making referrals where appropriate


The Candidate

  • Demonstrable understanding of Business Plans, including financial forecasts
  • Possess the ability to analyse company accounts or financial forecasts for SME businesses
  • Focussed on delivering excellent customer service
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent communicator at all levels
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Ability to work under own initiative and be able to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Excel and competent in the use of MS word
