Our client a leading financier of new and used HGV’s and trailers are seeking an additional Regional Business Manager to work with dealers across central southern England. You will manage a territory that encompasses Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire typically from Heathrow and west to Newbury , south to Southampton and north to Oxford.
Your role will be work with our clients dealer sales staff to use finance to help facilitate the sale of new and used HGV’s. You will be targeted to achieve finance penetration targets as well as volume and income targets.
You will work with dealer sales staff and dealers management assisting with credit approval of applications and the structuring and closing of deals with the dealers customers.
You can expect to work with a diverse range of customers ranging from owner operators to mid corporates.
The preferred location to hire is some living near the Guilford or Reading conurbations but we are willing to consider applications from those who suitably skilled who live anywhere on the sales territory itself.
Our ideal applicant will have a successful sales background in the transport asset finance sector possibly with a bank asset financier, a lease broker or a captive financier.
If you have experience of working with dealers as well as deal closing with customers this would be a particularly attractive combination. Knowledge of selling value added products such as Insurance , GAP , RTI etc are all advantages.
You will need good product awareness of Finance Lease , Operating lease and Hire Purchase plus broad commercial skills encompassing the ability to read and understand a balance sheet and cashflow statement and have the ability to structure and also price deals.
Crucially we are seeking someone who is a hard working and effective team player whom you dealers will see as an intrinsic and crucial part of their sales proposition.
Salary range up to £55,000 + bonus of up to 6% of salary plus company car and final salary pension scheme.
