|J2277 - Our client is seeking a Sales Executive to be responsible for originating new asset finance business through both broker relationships and direct with borrowers. You will research, identify and target asset finance opportunities. Objectives will be measured primarily by resultant volume, margin and profit. Salary: £30,000 - £50,000 plus excellent bonus and benefits. Location: UK Flexible (SW Eng preferred).
Research, identify and target hard asset finance opportunities to maximise new business using a variety of canvassing methods including phone calls, networking and prospect site visits.
Proactively identify and approach customers, dealers and brokers to promote the company’s finance products and services.
Ensure all leads identified are pursued.
Submit discuss and negotiate proposals with potential customers, dealers and brokers.
Negotiate the terms of a proposal, submit for internal approval and prepare documentation in line with company procedures.
Achieve sales and profitability targets.
Maintain and develop new business relationships ensuring consistent high quality service levels.
Depending on status, support senior sales staff in developing, growing and retaining their portfolio of customers.
Prepare documentation for processing and payout.
Respond positively to management initiatives on targeting particular sectors/niches.
Contribute to the sales team and company knowledge ensuring market and competitor information is shared and acted on where appropriate.
Experience in a client facing role.
Ability to seek profitable new business opportunities with target prospects and to convert them to completed contracts.
Asset finance or other lending experience desirable.
Ability to work under pressure.
Proven success in building relationships with people at all levels.
We strongly favour applicants with proven relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing.
