Our client a leading financier of IT products and provider of additional services are seeking to hire an experienced business developer to develop additional business from a number of IT manufacturer partners.
You role will be one of building early and effective use of finance to help the manufacturers sales staff achieve targets whilst achieving your own volume and income targets.
You can expect to get closely engaged with each partners prospect pipeline talking directly to senior influencers and decision makers at customers constructing finance solutions that accelerate deal closure and maximise margin retention for your partners.
You will build trust with each partner to ensure finance is used early in the sales cycle and pro-actively rather than re-actively.
We are happy to disclose to suitably qualified applicants the identity of our clients partners and the target you will be expected to achieve.
We are seeking applications from those based in London or South East who have a successful sales background in IT finance or those in IT solutions sales who have used finance as a strategic sales tool and can build on that knowledge.
Whatever your exact background you need to possess gravitas and presence to command support from vendor partners from sales to director level and with customers across multiple functions to C level.
You will have a strong bias for action and possess a high energy, high activity approach to business development.
You will be resilient, focussed, pragmatic and positive. You must be a team player but be someone who takes personal responsibility for achieving objectives and some who thrives on being a light touch low maintenance member of the team.
On target earnings will be at least £130,000 with monthly paid commission with excellent accelerators plus a negotiable market competitive base salary.
