Staff from the Bank as well as friends from @TheCityRooms took part in the Walking to Remember 100 mile charity walk.
This inaugural “Walking to Remember” event covered over 100 miles of the beautiful Leicestershire countryside. On 27th March 7 walkers embarked on a mammoth five-day walk cover the “Leicestershire Round” raising money for 3 excellent local charities: -
The Laura Centre: Offers specialist bereavement counselling to parents whose child has died and to children or young people who have been bereaved of a parent or significant person.
Headway: To promote understanding of all aspects of brain injury and provide information, support and services to survivors, their families and carers. In addition, Headway will campaign to reduce the incidence of brain injury.
Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY): CRY supports young people diagnosed with potentially life-threatening cardiac conditions and offers bereavement support to families. CRY promotes and develops heart screening
