30th Aug 2016. County Finance - Rainbows Hospice
Rainbows is a Leicestershire-based charity that run a hospice for children and young people in the East Midlands. For the past two years, our Office Manager Joanne Stonier has been involved in helping to raise money for this charity and in 2016 County Finance Group also got involved in supporting their second annual concert and funday held at the Red Lion in Huncote.
The event was held over the August bank holiday weekend and included live music, an outside bar, BBQ, carnival-style games, a cake stall, a book stall and a raffle for which County Finance Group donated the main prize of a flat screen television and a case of wine.
The concert was a resounding success raising £4461 in one afternoon for the charity. It has grown in size significantly since its inaugural year, and will hopefully continue to grow year on year as it becomes a regular event in the local community calendar.
